Perfect guest experience with wow effect

Intelligent room controllers form the basis for an all-round room experience, reliably controlling the heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, blinds and curtains – even Internet, TV and audio can be incorporated into the overall concept.

Linking the room control system to the hotel's IT and infotainment systems can create entirely new room functions such as moods and wake-up calls which when combined with lighting effects, temperature changes and audio/video can magically create special atmospheres in the room. Guest profiles are another option, allowing users to save their settings and recreate them upon their next check-in.

  • Intuitive operation via tablet or smartphone app
  • Selectable room moods (relax, business etc.) and wake-up calls
  • Unlimited options for a sensational room atmosphere
  • Room pre-setting (lighting, air conditioning etc.) according to the guest's personal preferences

Optimum room conditions create a feel-good atmosphere

The needs-based SBC room automation can be programmed in an extremely flexible manner and focuses on the guest.

It takes into account when and how rooms are being used and automatically ensures maximum comfort in terms of heating, cooling, fresh air, light and shade. The easy operation allows the guest to keep control of all relevant parameters.

  • Pleasant room conditions for maximum comfort
  • Room conditions adapt optimally to the individual needs of the guest
  • Extremely easy to operate with the guest in full control

Optimised hotel management processes

Saia Burgess Controls room control technology is ideal for integration into IT systems and fits seamlessly into your hotel management. The room automation system adapts to your operating processes and increases the efficiency of hotel management.

Thanks to the door locking system and the room sensors, the control system can detect whether a guest, maid or maintenance worker is present and can adjust the room parameters accordingly. The management system gives you a constant overview of the room parameters and the room status, allowing you to control your internal processes in an optimum manner.

  • Room automation embedded in hotel management
  • Simplified and automated operating processes
  • New possibilities for optimum room management, maintenance and outsourcing
  • Access and status determination with door locking system and room sensors

Maximum energy savings

The room automation uses a sophisticated access and status management system (room cards, door sensors, motion sensors, room temperature and air quality sensors) to constantly adjust the temperature, ventilation and lighting to the current room use – fully automatically and reliably.

If, for example, the guest leaves the room or the room is not yet reserved, the ventilation and temperature are switched to an energy-saving setting, and all electrical loads are switched off. The entire system only ever uses as much energy as it needs, without sacrificing comfort.

  • Fully automatic, needs-based room automation – the room only uses as much energy as required
  • Energy-saving modes taking into account weather conditions and solar irradiance
  • Virtual energy measurement creates consumption transparency in each room without the need for costly measurement sensors

Connected room automation with open interfaces

From the primary system and local applications to operation, SBC room automation has open interfaces and connects all disciplines involved, whether it be HVAC, lighting or shading.

Communication via BACnet, LON, KNX, Modbus, S-Bus and other protocols can be organised flexibly, allowing all energy and operating costs to be optimised. Web and IT integration always come as standard.

  • Open interfaces for connecting all disciplines: HVAC, lighting, shading
  • Web and IT integration as standard
  • Lighting control via DALI
