Energy – sustainably and where it is needed

Heating/ventilation/air-conditioningEngineering made easy

With SBC, you have an effective partner. Our HVAC and DDC Suite libraries provide a useful collection of complex control building blocks for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. These functions make it easier to engineer building-related systems.

The Saia PCD hardware combines a number of core properties which make our products so user-friendly. They include an Ethernet interface to all important Web+IT protocols which is also used for Saia PG5 communication.

With the rule building blocks contained in the Saia PG5 core package (FBoxes), you can achieve a large part of the program functions. In addition, libraries for special applications are available. The HVAC and DDC Suite libraries have a useful collection of complex FBoxes for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. These functions make it easier to engineer building-related systems. For example, they include FBoxes for alarms and monitoring, for controlling of lighting and blinds, and for heating meters.

80% of life cycle costs are incurred during the operating phase of a building. Half of this comprise energy costs which could be reduced with an intelligent building automation system. A building only becomes intelligent when all heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, shading and other systems are fully connected. This is the key to energy efficiency, in the process optimizing the operating costs of a building.

It is also ensured that customers’ application software runs on all platforms, is portable across device generations and can be expanded over the course of decades. The hardware and Windows programming tools may change, but the application code does not have to.
