Management system
A building management system is indispensable for display, control and fine adjustment, and to detect any alarms in the technical systems of buildings. The Saia® Visi.Plus system has a scalable, flexible architecture that offers a wide range of uses in building technology at optimized prices. Its close association of visualization and programming enables integrators to produce cost-efficient system solutions. Its extensive library of ready-made macros lets users create customized system management quickly and efficiently. Its innovative web technology allows local or remote user prompting via a standard web browser – with the benefits of software neutrality and password protection.
User prompting
When it comes to displaying system-specific information, or entering parameters like time-switch functions, the spectrum extends from the simple text terminal to the powerful web panel. This means that, depending on requirements, individual customer needs can be met in full. Whether these needs call for direct local control or for networked visualization through distributed control nodes, Saia® DDC.Plus components can be used to create open control concepts – without adding to design, implementation or maintenance costs.
Automation level
As a company, Saia-Burgess Controls has always stressed the importance of protecting investment through the rigorous compatibility of our products. At the automation level, this company offers an extensive range of compact, modular, freely programmable systems, all of which can be equipped with a manual/emergency control level. With the help of a convenient programming tool – Saia® PG5 Controls Suite – these systems are programmed for specific applications and then commissioned. The freedom with which automation systems and software components can be combined produces such flexibility that there are almost no limits to the range of uses.
Room automation and field level
When regulating for an optimum room climate, autonomous room controllers are used for the most diverse requirements. They can be connected to a higher ranking automation system via network connections, to ensure a direct influence on primary power installations. Remote input/output components overcome great distances quickly, easily and at reasonable cost.
Communications level
When networking individual facilities and levels, standard interfaces are generally used. These range from simple, serial connections or modem sections, all the way to Ethernet-TCP/ IP communications and Internet networking. Based on Ethernet and Profibus, Saia® S-Net networks can be produced in efficient multiprotocol mode.
The open communications field is covered with standard market products* for the most diverse facilities. The various standard network connections provide a simple way of networking management, automation and field levels, and even integrating foreign systems with them.
