SaiaPCD S-Energy Logger:
energy measurement, logging and display with Windows-based Web-Panels

Public interest today is focussed on dealing with energy responsibly and efficiently. This has resulted in new demands being placed on automation. Saia-Burgess therefore now offers a comprehensive concept for the acquisition and delivery of electrical energy values.
The heart of the system comprises control devices that have been designed as Energy Loggers and are connected with bus-capable energy meters. These power meters are available in either mono-phase or three-phase versions with a measurement range up to 6000 A. Saia-Burgess itself produces and develops these bus-capable energy meters at its headquarters in Switzerland.
S-Energy Loggers are ready for use immediately, without installation. Via a preconfigured user interface, power meter values can be accessed, such as consumption, current, voltage, apparent/true/idle power, performance factor (cosφ), etc. Special programming knowledge and elaborate software engineering are not necessary. Whoever still wants to create his own interface can easily replace the standard controls with a personally created web visualization, or just extend them. Thanks to web technology, the Energy Logger interface can be called both from the Web-Panel itself and via a network from any PC. Energy Loggers can read energy values from up to 254 energy meters. In addition to visualization of the display, values acquired can also be logged in Excel-readable CSV files. Freely configurable reports may also be edited. For further processing that satisfies EDP needs, all values including time stamps can be backed up in a MySQL server. This ensures the existence of a convenient interface to commercial billing software or for integration into a web-site with PHP.
The Windows-based Energy Logger is available with a high quality colour TFT display and touch control in display sizes 10“, 12“ and 15“ (800x600 or 1024x768) for mounting both in control cabinets and on walls.
