The independent laboratory WSP Lab has certified the full range of Saia®PCD high end BACnet controllers.
SaiaPCD: the most comprehensive implementation of BACnet
Continuous, unbroken and combined with web/IT technology

In November 2008, Saia-Burgess received a BACnet certificate for its entire current range of modular SaiaPCD automation stations. The certificate was awarded by WSP Lab in Stuttgart, Germany; an accredited, independent laboratory for the certification of BACnet devices.
This makes Saia-Burgess the only supplier to have continuous BACnet compatibility for all its automation station types. The market’s fullest and most comprehensive functional BACnet implementation has been created. Only SaiaPCD technology from Saia-Burgess allows normal automation stations to be upgraded with the BACnet stack by means of a small, optional flash module, without reconstruction.
Alongside BACnet, SaiaPCD devices also have a powerful and highly functional automation server as part of their basic equipment. All the open, global standards of web + IT technology have been integrated within this automation server. They include not only an FTP server and web server, but also a mail server and all the important IP and telecommunications protocols.
Via a file system, up to 4 GBytes of data can be stored on SD flash memory.
With a choice of over 100 different I/O and communications modules, everything is available to satisfy the requirements of widely differing market segments for a modern building automation system.
High functionality and flexibility, combined with the high design quality of devices that meet the strict PLC hardware standard IEC 1131-2, justify the confidence of planners, integrators, users and owners. SaiaPCD brings them all peace of mind throughout the life cycle of a property.
